In today's demanding papermaking environments press section rolls are often a key determining factor in the runnability of a paper machine. Contaminant buildup on a roll surface will often seriously impede machine runnability. DuBois has roll treatment products designed for a variety of conditions, machines and grades from board machines to newsprint and fine paper under the most demanding conditions.

Nexus® – Our line of products is designed to be used on granite, ceramic and mineral synthetic composite covered rolls. Improved sheet release, decreased picking and breaks, improved draw as well as extended doctor blade life are some of the benefits seen using Nexus® release aids. By employing a patent pending chemistry, DuBois has been able demonstrate a 400-600% return on investment by prolonging doctor blade life alone.

RollAid – Products designed to keep heated and steel rolls virtually deposit free. This allows machine speeds to increase, eliminates picking and in the case of steam heated rolls, improves steam utilization. Roll Aid products have successfully replaced kerosene and other environmentally damaging roll cleaning practices in many mills.
